Condo inspection

Condo inspection

What is the difference between the inspection of a condo and that of a single-family home inspection?

A single-family home inspection involves the verification of the whole property, interior and exterior, from the foundation to the roof, while a condo inspection involves the verification of only the unit in question. However, this type of inspection may also include verifying other elements of the overall building, such as the structure, foundation, roof, inside parking, and common areas.

It does not matter whether you purchase your condo directly from the builder or a private individual, since even a new condo must be inspected to ensure that there is no defect and, should some defects be noted, they must be corrected before the move-in date to avoid potential problems or delaying the move-in date.
